The Wonder Broads

 

The Wonder Broad Dragon boat team was formed in 2003 and all our members are breast cancer survivors. We paddle for fun, for exercise and to support each other - while increasing awareness about breast cancer and the benefits of dragon boating for all breast cancer survivors. Research has proven that exercise and healthy lifestyle can help prevent breast cancer and lymphedema.  The WonderBroads Charitable Dragon Boat Racing Org is a registered non-profit charity.

From April to October, weather permitting, practices are scheduled on the water at River Canard Canoe Co. In addition to twice weekly practices, the team travels (locally, nationally and internationally) to participate in Breast Cancer Survivor dragon boat races.
